Your papers in order, from your phone

Eight steps to a verified profile, certificates that never expire on you and every sea day on record. For the sailor, EnrolaMar is free — always.

Step 1 · What EnrolaMar does for you

A digital wallet for your seagoing papers: ID, seaman's book, medical certificate and STCW certificates. You decide which shipowner sees them, and when. The MLC 2006 Convention bans charging seafarers for job placement, so your side of the platform costs nothing, now or later.

Step 2 · Create your account

You need a registration code or an invitation from a shipowner. If you were invited by email, the link already carries the code: you only add your name, email and password. Registering gives nobody access to your documents.

Step 3 · Complete your profile

Under «My profile» you set your professional title (skipper, deckhand, engineer…), the navigation zones you want to sail, whether you are available and the sea days you already have. That profile is what shipowners see when they look for crew.

Step 4 · Upload your documents

Four are mandatory for a complete profile: ID, Seaman's Book, ISM medical certificate and Basic STCW. Add your specialities too (survival, advanced firefighting, medical care, fast rescue boats) and your professional title. For each document, record its number and expiry date.

Step 5 · Watch your traffic light

Every document has its own light: green when valid, amber when close to expiry, red when expired. Your profile shows the worst of them. You get automatic reminders 60, 30 and 15 days before each expiry, so it never catches you on the quay.

Step 6 · Check the offer board

Under «Offers» you see every vacancy published by shipowners. Filter by port, navigation zone and department, or tick «only the ones that match my profile» to see just those compatible with your title and zones.

Step 7 · Apply — and that is your consent

When you apply to an offer, that shipowner (and only that one) can see your documents to check you are in order. It is your decision and you can undo it: «Connections» has a Revoke button. Withdrawing an application and revoking access are two different things, each with its own button.

Step 8 · Review your enrolments

Under «Enrolments» you have your enrolment history and accumulated sea days: your navigation logbook in digital form, which is what you need the day you go for a higher rank.

Frequently asked questions

Who can see my documents?+
Only the shipowners you agreed to connect with: because you accepted their invitation, or because you applied to one of their offers. Every other shipowner sees at most your public profile (name, title, zones, availability and sea days), never your phone number or your files. Every time someone opens a document of yours it is logged.
Can I take access back later?+
Yes, whenever you want and without explaining yourself. Under «Offers», in the Connections block, press Revoke on that shipowner and they stop seeing your documents immediately.
If I withdraw my application, do they lose access?+
No. Withdrawing takes you out of that vacancy; revoking cuts access to your documents. They are deliberately separate actions, so each one is your own call.
Will EnrolaMar charge me anything?+
No. The MLC 2006 Convention bans charging seafarers for job placement. The shipowning company pays the subscription.
What happens if a certificate expires?+
Your traffic light turns red and connected shipowners see it. Before that you get reminders at 60, 30 and 15 days. Renew it, upload the new document and you are back to green.
