The whole fleet in order, at a glance

Eight steps from phone calls and WhatsApp to a panel where every vessel and every crew member carries its status in real time.

Step 1 · What it solves

A vessel held in port over an expired paper costs between €5,000 and €20,000 a day, and RD 1028/2002 sets fines from €601 for invalid documentation. EnrolaMar warns you before it happens and leaves the enrolment ready to file.

Step 2 · Your account and your team

Each company is a team. The sidebar switcher moves you between teams if you run more than one, and you invite whoever works with you (fleet manager, fleet inspector, crewing manager) so they see what you see.

Step 3 · Register your vessels

Under «Vessels» you create each boat with its technical sheet: registration, NIB, flag, call sign, length, beam, depth, power and gross tonnage, plus its registry list and its scale (inshore, offshore or deep sea). The registry list decides which documents it owes.

Step 4 · File the vessel papers and schedule its maintenance

Inside each vessel there is one row per document type and the full catalogue of maintenance and safety-gear checks (liferaft, extinguishers, anodes, ITB…). Mark one as done and the system schedules the next one for you. As long as any document on that list is missing, the vessel does not show as in order.

Step 5 · Build your crew list

Under «Crew» you search verified profiles by title, zone and availability, and invite them: the sailor accepts and from then on you see their documents. If someone in your crew will never open the app, you can register them yourself, stating that they authorised you, and upload their papers on their behalf.

Step 6 · Publish enrolment offers

Under «Offers» you publish a vacancy with its role, navigation zone and port. It shows on every sailor's board and candidates apply on their own: applying gives you access to their documents so you can check they are in order.

Step 7 · Enrol aboard

From the vessel page you pick a crew member and a role aboard. Below the table, the minimum-manning strip shows which departments are covered (bridge, deck, engine…). It is indicative: the binding figure is the Minimum Safe Manning Certificate issued by Capitanía.

Step 8 · File the enrolment and watch compliance

Under «Enrolments» you generate the Capitanía form pre-filled with the vessel and crew data. And under «Compliance» you get the traffic light for the whole fleet, the 60, 30 and 15-day expiry warnings, and your private notes on each crew member, visible only to your team.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my vessel amber when nothing has expired?+
The vessel's traffic light does not only look at what you have uploaded, but at what the vessel must carry according to its registry list. Red: an uploaded document has expired. Amber: a document the vessel owes has not been uploaded yet, one expires within 60 days, or the enrolled crew leaves a minimum-manning department uncovered (for example, an offshore vessel with nobody in the engine room). Green: every paper is uploaded and in date, and the manning is covered. A newly created vessel shows amber until you complete it. What is missing is never painted red: EnrolaMar knows the paper is not on the platform, not that it is not on board.
Which crew documents can I see?+
Those of anyone who agreed to connect with you (accepted your invitation or applied to one of your offers) and those of the crew you registered yourself. For everyone else you only see the public profile: name, title, zones, availability and sea days. Every file you open is logged.
What if the crew member revokes access?+
You stop seeing their documents from that moment. It is their right, and it is what keeps the platform GDPR-compliant. Enrolments already on record do not disappear.
Why must I state that they authorised me?+
Because holding someone's certificates requires a lawful basis. That statement is logged and it is what covers you for keeping their papers. If that person later registers with your invitation, they adopt their own profile and the decisions become theirs.
Who pays, and how much?+
The company pays the subscription, per vessel, with different plans for inshore, offshore and fleets. The sailor never pays. In many cases the fee is covered by the fishermen's guild, the producers' organisation or the insurer — write to us and we will look at it.
Does EnrolaMar file with Capitanía for me?+
Today it generates the pre-filled form for you to upload in one click. Automatic filing and, later, direct integration with the Ministry's electronic office are on the roadmap.
